At our institution, when there are multiple grades, and the disagreement in the mark awarded by the different graders is within a small range, e.g., 5 marks, then the convention is to simply average the awarded marks. While this is not necessarily a moderation issue, within Canvas, Moderated Grading is the only multiple-graders function, and a pretty good function it is. However, the fact that the "final grader"/Moderator has to then go in and manually award average marks is a bit of a drag.
In the Moderated Grading, it would be good to have a setting "If difference in marks is less than x" then Average the award automatically.
