[Catalog] Student Dashboard - "Go To Course" link greyed out

Problem statement:

When using/following directions in the default emails and settings in Catalog, a student who enrolls in a course that has a start date in the future (in the Canvas Course Settings) will eventual arrive at their Catalog Student Dashboard and not be able to "click through" via the "Go To Course" link for the course listing to access the course.

Proposed solution:

Would be possible to use the "Restrict students from viewing course before term start date" option in addition to the Course Start Date in Canvas to determine whether the "Go To Course" link is available or not for the Course Listing in the Catalog Student Dashboard? We have use cases where we want students to be able to access the course via the Catalog Student Dashboard to view materials before the course starts. We are using the course start date specifically in order to get the date to populate on the Catalog Listings where "Self-Paced" would otherwise appear.
