We have a second Canvas instance created for our use of Catalog, and a trust relationship configured so our existing learners can SSO from the primary, SIS-connected instance. With this trust relationship, enrollments from the SIS-connected instance appear on the Catalog instance dashboard. This can be confusing to current students, as there is no simple method for them to return to our Catalog instance. It can also be confusing to alumni whose courses may not have had end dates and will remain on their dashboard even after years have passed.
We would like an administrator option to toggle whether the trust relationship will include enrollments or just user information. This will allow administrators to create a more ideal, simplified experience for a variety of different learners.
