[Courses] AI in Canvas LMS
As an online student, I take 80-85% asynchronous classes, oftentimes with reading material and quizzes/assignments on Canvas. Often the professors for these classes also teach live classes, and therefore focus most of their attention on them and are less available to help. Online students are in a hard place with not enough help available.
Implement a “Kahnmigo-like” tutor for each course where the AI model is trained on the data in that specific course. It wouldn’t give solutions to the student, but helps them get started on the write track by offering suggestions from the material: “review this page”, “remember this definition”, “check this calculation”, and so on. It would be a “private tutor” of sorts. In my mind, very useful for online students specifically.
