Errors that occur during course imports or link validation are not always easily understood. For example, "missing links found in imported content" does not adequately explain where the links are or what is missing - does the link go to a course item that doesn't exist? Or something else? Furthermore, when clicking on the error in the Issues panel, the user is taken to the page with the error but the specific problem is not highlighted or shown to the user. On a page with multiple links, this leads to confusion about which specific link is causing issues.
There should be clearer documentation of all the error messages that can be encountered in course imports and link validation. Furthermore, the error messages should make clear exactly which link(s) or course item(s) have issues during an import or validation.
