[Courses] Update Section Date Management to be Similar to Course Date Management

Now that there has been an update to how we manage Course Dates and use them to override Term Dates, can we also get a similar update in Section Dates? Section Dates still has the "Students can only participate in the course between these dates" dialogue.

With Canvas' new change of participation to include "term" dates. They didn't account for section dates. Meaning that if a faculty chooses to have participation end with the term and not the course, the section dates, do not update to reflect the term dates. Instead the admin has to go in and change the dates. How can we fix this so that the participation option gets updated with the section dates?

Our faculty cannot adjust section dates, only course dates. So even if they are warned that adjusting course dates, they may also adjust section dates, how are they to do this?

New Idea, have the course dates and section dates talk to each other, so if the change is made in course dates/term date option, it would automatically update in the section dates!

@gperez1 I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. Unless someone has added section dates manually, there wouldn't be any section dates, right? And if term dates were selected, they shouldn't be updating the section dates, as those are made to override term and course dates by design.
