Problem statement:
The @ mentioning is currently challenging to use because of the possibility of duplicate display names, with no way to distinguish between users. At this stage, the feature does not display individual profile pictures in the list. While there is a circular placeholder to the left of each user's display name, it only shows initials.
Proposed solution:
If profile pictures could be displayed here, it'll be much easier to identify users accurately. I understand that the @mentioning feature can only show students' display names due to privacy concerns, but including profile pictures could serve as a helpful workaround to mitigate this limitation.
