Marks can only be manually released or posted. An option to schedule is needed. For example my school has requested no marks to be posted during school time unless during the timetabled class. However this is not always possible as we all know a teachers time is valuable and completing tasks is helpful as opposed to having to go back to post marks at another time.
Mark Posting Policy should have an option to schedule release of these 'hidden' marks at a time appropriate for release. This would allow a job of entering marks, leaving comments and then scheduling release / post time that is sensitive to students other commitments.
