[Grades] Label for Dropped Score

Problem statement:

I have my gradebook set to drop the lowest score of a category. I can clearly see which score is dropped as it is assigned a color in my gradebook. Students using chromebooks to check their grade can just barely tell that the dropped assignment text seems to be a slightly lighter shade of grey than other assignments. Students using the mobile app to check their grade cannot tell at all when a grade is dropped.

Proposed solution:

Add a "dropped" label similar to the "missing" or "exempt" labels currently used in the student gradebook. The "why" is that students should be able to look at the gradebook and determine which grades are included in their overall score.

Problem statement:

Students and parents have a hard time seeing that an assignment has been dropped. Right now the assignment is only slightly lighter in color than the other assignments. As a result, they are often in a panic because they think the assignments are being held against them when they really aren't.

Proposed solution:

Make any dropped assignments a different color so there is a lot more contrast between dropped and non-dropped assignments so it is REALLY obvious that the assignment score is being dropped.

Problem statement:

When viewing student grades, the status column indicates if assignments are missing or late, provided the rules are set up. However, dropped assignments are difficult to identify.

Proposed solution:

It would be easier to quickly see the dropped assignments if Canvas displayed "dropped" in the status column next to any assignments that have been dropped, provided the rule is set up.
