Problem statement:

Administrators create pinboards to have important data ready when needed but getting to that Pinboard can be a 4 to 5 click process. For a busy administrator who is only accessing Canvas for the data this can feel cumbersome.

Proposed solution:

I would suggest a dedicated administrator navigation link that would take the admin user directly to Pinboards. This would allow a less cumbersome method to access the custom data they have created.
