As soon as students click into a module, they almost immediately lose track of where they are... where in the list of modules, where within a module, how much content is coming, how much content they have already worked through. Teachers try to meet this massive challenge by manually inserting cross-links everywhere, which is incredibly time-consuming and error-prone, with limited benefits. For example, overview pages are created at the beginning of modules, with cross-links to all module content, and links from all content back to this overview page.
Allows you to create an automatically generated table of contents for each module. This could be an option in the module settings. Clicking on this option will create a content page, which will be placed in front of all content, with clear course links to all content in that module. If possible, a 'back to overview page' button should also be added to each content so that students can navigate back to this overview page. At the very least, this would help students to find their way around the module.
