Mute grade until date

This idea has been developed and deployed to Canvas

Is it possible for the Canvas programmers to figure out how configure the Mute feature to have a Mute Until a certain date?

Thanks for sharing this idea,  @vancej ‌. It has been put forward for community consideration several times in the past, but thus far hasn't received robust support. As time passes, users' priorities change, and perhaps the idea will garner greater attention and more votes in this new round of voting.
