[New Quizzes] Automatically allow case sensitive answers and common mispelling

Problem statement:

For fill in the blank answers and one/two word written answers, it would be great if code could be embedded to allow for both case sensitive answers and common spelling mistakes that are currently automatically marked incorrect. For example, the written answer is "Aluminium sulphate", but automatically marked wrong answers include: - aluminum sulphate - aliminium sulfate etc

Proposed solution:

They could even just be suggested added answers, or a button to automatically add suggested added answers based on the correct answer with the correct spelling.

Problem statement:

In New Quizzes, when choosing Open Entry for Fill in the Blank questions, there are options for 'Contains' and 'Exact Match'. If I choose the 'Contains' option, put in the answer as "word", and then a student answers "Word", Canvas marks it wrong. The work around I use involves choosing Regular Expression Match and putting in "word|Word" as possible answers. This seems unnecessary. In my mind, case sensitivity should only apply to the 'Exact Match' option, not the 'Contains' option. As long as they spell 'word' correctly, I don't care if the 'W' is capitalized. It causes additional work in grading and/or setting up the questions prior to Quiz delivery.

Proposed solution:

Remove case sensitivity from the Open Entry Contains option in New Quizzes.

For example, I wrote the question below assuming all these student responses would be marked correct.
