[New Quizzes] Download (export) editable Item Bank questions - to plain text or other type of format
Once questions have been added to an Item (or Question) Bank there is currently no way to export them into an editable format (or even non-editable). It would be a useful feature to be able to export certain items, or the entire bank to a Word editable format. In this way both online and face-to-face assessment could parallel one another without needless retyping of all questions. In addition, question banks could be reviewed offline for correctness, alignment, duplication, and other necessary reviews. All questions could be sorted, organized or aligned to different outcomes or criteria. Doing this offline and in a different system would be MUCH easier than anything currently available inside of Canvas.
Provide an export all or select questions from a Question Bank or Item Bank to either plain text format, word document, or excel spreadsheet. The WHY is articulated in the problem. They could be edited, organized, checked for accuracy, aligned to criteria or outcomes, reviewed, and de-duped. Removing duplicates from a bank is SO cumbersome and tedious now as to be excruciating. Trying to group or organize a bank? Impossible!
