[New Quizzes] Duplicate New Quizzes from Modules

Feature Request: Add in the ability for teachers to duplicate a New Quiz when they are working in the Modules tab.

For assignments, pages, etc. a teacher can duplicate them when working in the Modules tab. The exception is New Quizzes. Working in the Quizzes tab, a teacher can choose to duplicate a New Quiz, but not when working in the Modules tab. As a district, the expectation is teachers will organize courses using modules. We have a number of teachers who get overwhelmed by the fact that items live in more than one place (for example both in the modules tab and the assignment tab). In turn, we trained our teachers to always work from the modules tab. They can quickly duplicate assignments and create multiple versions or duplicate assignment templates while in the Modules tab, which is great. We run into issues when it comes to New Quizzes because they cannot duplicate the New Quizzes but see the "Copy to" feature and make the mistake of trying to use this instead which causes issues.

Yes!  This would be a great feature to have!  It would lessen the number of clicks to accomplish duplicating a quiz, and it would allow teachers to remain in the Modules tab while creating content.  I think it would also decrease confusion regarding the "Copy to" and "Send to" options.

Hi @CarlaD07 and @StefanieGross - While it is possible to duplicate quizzes created via New Quizzes in the same manner as duplicating an assignment, you have to do so through Quizzes, you're right. Having this in the Module view would be helpful!

How do I duplicate a New Quizzes quiz?

@KristinL Agree, it is not so much a new feature request as a request for a change in workflow. Looking to make it more streamlined and straight forward for teachers.
