The way that Canvas distinguishes between New Quizzes and Classic Quizzes in most of the interface is a "solid" spaceship for New Quizzes and an "outline" of a spaceship in Classic quizzes. This icon appears in modules, in the assignment list and the quiz list. However, when you go into a New Quiz and click the build the spaceship icon that appears in the upper left is the "outline" of a spaceship. First of all, the Spaceship icon is the only way to distinguish and when helping faculty, I really do sound like a crazy person.
1. Make the spaceship icon within the Build Area of New Quizzes look solid, like how New Quiz icons appear throughout Canvas. 2. Consider making a more obvious indicator of New Quizzes vs Classic Quizzes to the casual Canvas user.
