Allow a question to be able to generate multiple random values, let's say the following variables `a`, `b`, and `c`. The other parts of this question can have varying types of questions.
For example:
Part A - could be a formula question where I can generate an answer based on the random values `a`, `b`, and/or `c`
Part B - could be a fill-in-the-blank question
Part C - another formula question where I can generate an answer based on the random values `a`, `b`, and/or `c`
Part D - an Essay/Short answer question to be graded by the instructor manually
I know this would be asking a lot (maybe too much), but also allow an assignment of value to each part.
Part A = 1 point, Part B = 2 points, Part C = 1 point, and Part D = 3 points.
Having these features would allow teachers to make one question that is able to generate multiple versions (let's say 100) of itself but with various random values and corresponding answers based on the formulas. At the moment, I have to make 12 fill-in-the-blank questions if I want 12 versions of the question. It's extremly time consuming. In addition, having these features make it much more difficult for students to try to cheat. This would be life changing for me as a math teacher and I am fairly certain for others as well. Thanks!
