[New Quizzes] Speedgrader comments are visible while faculty still grading, manual release grading policy

Problem statement:

Student can see teaching team's comments for each quiz question *using speech bubble in speedgrader", while the teaching team is still grading, for example Essay questions - this problem occurs even though the teaching team hasn't pressed 'Post Grades' on an item set to 'Manually Release' grade policy.

Proposed solution:

Hide the Speech Bubble comment entirely from student view, until the teaching team has clicked 'Post Grades' in speedgrader or from the course gradebook.

User role(s):

student

Hello!

I did some exploration and learned that the course settings are separate from the New Quizzes menu. So while you may have a score posting policy for the course (via the Gradebook), it does not carry over to New Quizzes automatically. The ability to hide scores or results needs to be set per assessment.

How do I use posting policies in a course?

Because this functionality exists in New Quizzes, I'm moving this thread to our Will Not Consider status to help the Product Team focus on other requests. Thank you!
