When creating a quiz in Canvas, there is no way to set default options. Instructors must manually adjust settings (e.g., time limit, preventing backward navigation, multiple login restrictions, etc.) every single time they create a new quiz. This process is redundant and time-consuming, especially when building multiple similar quizzes or exams across several courses.
Allow instructors to set customizable default settings for quizzes at the course level (or account level). For example, an instructor could define default time limits, navigation rules, and login restrictions once, and have those settings automatically applied to all new quizzes. Instructors could still modify settings for individual assessments as needed, but having defaults would save significant time and ensure consistency.
