[New Quizzes] make Quiz questions impossible to cut/paste as text

Problem statement:

Any student can copy a text from an essay question in a quiz, to use in AI, to get a good answer from AI that they can use and cheat. They can cut and paste text in a quiz. Is it possible in some way to make it so that the questions/text in the question cannot be copied, cannot be cut out as text?

Proposed solution:

Prevent students from copying text, cutting text, from a quiz question.

While we appreciate your proposal, we also want to be transparent about the likelihood of something like this making it to production. In reviewing some of our recent feature proposals, unfortunately, this request was identified as one that the product team would not be able to include in their current or future plans. There has been an uptick in conversations lately regarding cheating and new AI software like courseology.io.  While we understand the need to safeguard questions, and it is possible to disable copy and paste from the browser, a number of browser extensions exist that silently prevent that from working, which make such changes ineffective. If there is a need to limit the tools the student uses for an exam, there are a number of proctoring tools available that are specifically suited to this sort situation.
