Students and parents are not motivated and/or savvy enough to check Canvas grades consistently to keep track of missing work. Parents have told teachers at our school that they would like regular emails listing their child's missing assignments.
I propose an option to set up weekly automatic emails that will send parents and students a list of all missing assignments, so that students and parents can stay up-to-date with any missing assignments and take care of them in a timely manner. If teachers have to manually create this list for each individual student, it takes hours. I know that there's an option to manually send out emails to all students who are missing a particular assignment, but it would be very convenient and useful if the emails could be set up to go out automatically with a list of missing assignments, rather than separate manual emails for each individual missing assignment.
