[On-Demand] Make the Reports More User Friendly for the Admin Side of the Canvas On-Demand Training Portal

Problem statement:

Hello! I am requesting a feature for the Admin side of the Canvas On Demand Training Portal. I am requesting for you to make the Admin Reports for the Canvas On Demand Training Portal more user friendly. Our school division awards points to staff who complete courses in the portal. So we use the reports to compile lists of names, but we also look at how long each course took to complete. This determines the number of points they are awarded for the course. Currently, I have to click through each of our 36 pages of info just to see the course status. And I have no idea how long each course is, without going through course descriptions on the Learner side.

Proposed solution:

Can you add Filtering and Sorting options for the Admin Reports, as well as columns that show the course length of time and the date of completion? I want to be able to filter for "completed" and to sort by date of completion (e.g. most recent to latest).

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this idea! We completely agree—this is an area that could use improvement. The good news is that it's already on our radar, and we're working with our Custom Development team to explore solutions.

While I don’t have a timeline to share just yet, the Learning Services Team will keep us updated through their blogs as we make progress.

Because this idea does not need to progress through Product's idea process, it is being moved to the Will Not Consider Status.
