[Pages] ALL links when Page name changes

Here's a common scenario:

An instructor makes a page, let's say a module overview page, and then links to this page from a custom Home page. While developing the course, the instructor changes the name of the module overview page. This breaks the homepage link because the page URL contains the page name.

Please create a system to avoid this common problem.

Hi Everyone - This idea has been moved out of "in development" to better align expectations. The Product Team shared that this issue is going to be addressed, but a combination of other high-priority commitments and the technical complexity of changing how Page links work in Canvas make it difficult to project a completion date. As the scope of work comes into focus the Product Team will be able to add an expected release date to the public roadmap.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
