This is not a new idea, but Canvas's commenting ability is always non-functional so I'm submitting the idea as a new one. See https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Ideas/Peer-Review-Automatically-Assigned-Peer-Reviews-Shou... for another request for it. Students have optional peer review assignments in my class. They are not tied to a due date. I would like for a student who submits an assignment to be given one or two submissions to review as they are available. Apparently I have to to do this manually though, which is a nuisance and something that should be automate-able.
Upon submission of a peer review assignment, the assignment goes to the indicated number of reviewers who have submitted their own assignments. This should not be tied to any particular due date. Asynchronous classes should have this flexibility.
