[Rubrics] Show outcome criteria ratings on rubrics without needing to show ratings for other criteria
Currently, there is no way to set up a rubric that allows for an outcome criterion to be scored using ratings without also enabling ratings on the other non-outcome criteria. It would be nice to have more control over what a rubric looks like and how instructors are able to use it. We would like to obtain outcomes ratings data without needing to change how other criterion are assessed. This issue has been a roadblock in our outcomes pilots that we have been running at my institution, since when free-form comments are enabled on a rubric we are unable to gather outcomes scoring data in a format that is helpful for analysis.
Allow a way for outcomes criteria to be assessed using proficiency ratings within a rubric without needing to use ratings for other criteria. This is needed in Canvas because sometimes the only rubric criteria you'd want to score with ratings are the ones that are designated outcomes, while other criteria are better assessed using free-form comments.
