As some users have posted, the Comment Library can get large and take too long to search through, thus negating the reason for having pre-written comments. Since many comments are useful for one specific assignment, I proposed linking a comment library an assignment the way rubrics are linked to an assignment.
Canvas has the link to a Rubrics library in the course navigation panel, and a rubric from there is then linked to an assignment. I propose something similar to this rubric library with a Comments library where a different set of comments (pre-grouped comments) can be linked to different assignments. Currently you can edit an assignment and link to a rubric, the same could be done for comments.
