Some Studio content creators create video content that is placed in blueprint courses. When the associated classes pick up the course design from the blueprint, those studio assets are also replicated in those courses. Teachers of those courses can see the Studio usage analytics via Insights only in their own course. This is also true for the original owner of the video, as there is no way for them to review how their Studio assets are watched in all classes that use their content.
We would like the content owner to see how their asset has been utilized, regardless of whether they are enrolled in the class where the asset resides. Ideally, the content owner should see a general response such as: Video X was watched 72 times by 64 students, that the asset was watched between 0% - 97%, and the average watched length was 53%. The content owner should not need to see the details of each person in each class. If the instructor has teacher access to their own class, they should still be able to drill down to see who has watched and how far students have watched the videos. It would also be nice for the content owner to be able to further filter so they can review analytics related to a specific term, date range, or by user type.
