Toggle between HTML and Rich Text Editors in Full Screen mode with new RCE

The new Rich Content Editor (RCE) has a great new Full Screen mode option. However, when a user in in Full Screen mode, they can only use the Rich Text Editor and cannot toggle to the HTML editor for the content.

For faculty working on smaller screens, the Full Screen mode is almost required to have a decently sized working space and minimizing the number of buttons that are hidden in the toolbar. However, these faculty cannot toggle between the two editors when in Full Screen mode currently. They then have to toggle Full Screen mode on and off to work with their content fully.

Please make it possible for a user to toggle between the HTML Editor and the Rich Text Editor when in Full Screen mode with the new RCE.

This idea has been developed and deployed to Canvas

This is a great suggestion. We would love to be able to use the HTML editor in fullscreen mode!

Not sure what the developers were thinking.  full screen while useful in the RCE, it is much more useful with html due to the length of the lines that can occur.  I hope they make what one would assume would be a minor tweak to the code to allow this feature.

I agree this would be very useful to be able to use HTML in fullscreen mode and reduce the going back and forth while trying to build content.
