[User Settings] Set a Temporary Password for a User

Problem statement:

Canvas Admins have the ability to reset user passwords, but there is no way to enforce that the user sets their own password.

Proposed solution:

Add an option (either in addition to, or instead of) resetting a password called "add a temporary password" that forces users to set a new password once they successfully log in. This will improve account security.
