Myself and other teachers at my site love to upload images of our Notability notes after class to our lessons in Canvas for students who didn't complete them or who were absent. We used to be able to do this until the most recent iOS update. No we've both noticed that when we go into an assignment on the Teacher app, there is no "Edit" button to upload this content. Am I missing something? Any help, guidance, suggestions, would be very appreciated. Thanks!
Hello @cgreeley
Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with uploading content to Notability while using the Canvas app. Notability is a 3rd party app and it is possible that their integration has changed or that the iOS updates may have caused errors. Also, not every app has full functionality while working within the Canvas app itself - as it is essentially an app embedded and working within another app. Do you have the same problem on an internet browser? We haven't sen any recent changes from them and the last reported errors seem to have been resolved:

Similarly, you may want to open a Canvas Support ticket or content Notability directly.
Because of the complexity of the issue, and the concerns for privacy, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:
Hey @greydon, thank you for your reply! Notability actually syncs really well with Canvas when I have students upload PDFs directly to assignments. That's not the issue. The issue is just being able to upload an image to an assignment on the Teacher app. We can get as far as selecting the image we want to put into the assignment when we are on the "Edit" screen, but then the image never shows up. We just want to be able to easily share our class notes (as images) in assignments with students; and since we take our notes digitally on our iPads, it would just be easy if we could find a way to fix the image upload feature of the Teacher app. I hope that helps clarify my issue. Thank you again!
I am interested in a solution for this as well.
