Canvas iOS App - 8.01/8.1 Update Logging Students out?

Anyone else out there start having quite a few reports of students being logged out of the Canvas app (As in on next open of Canvas app on iPad it will ask for School ...) after app updates on iOS 18.5.x+ iPads to 8.01/8.1? This is starting to become a somewhat common issue being reported with some Teachers reporting that it seems to be happening to the same students on multiple days, even one reported several times requiring login information in one day for one single student. All seeming to be related upon initial troubleshooting and device logs to when the iPad updates the VPP iOS App to 18.01/18.1. Anyone else seeing this behavior? We are iPads K-5 and about 1500 student iOS devices.
