Activity completion report?

I'm a training manager, and we use Canvas for employee training. I am looking for a report that shows me the names of my course participants, with columns for each activity in a course (modules or quizzes) and the date on which each participant completed each module. I've poked around in Canvas and on the web, and the results I'm seeing suggest there is no such report. But it feels like such a basic and universally useful thing to offer, that I can't quite believe it isn't available. 

Does anyone know how to make this happen, even if it requires some special engineering on my part? Thank you in advance for your help!

I cannot help with the matter directly.  However, it sounds like the material you want could be obtained through API calls - it would require work on your part to create the necessary api calls and then figure out how to process the data returned.  Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable people on the forum will be able to chime in.

Any reports we have available would be located in the Account > Settings > Reports.

Our guide for How do I view reports for an account?  will walk you through how to get there. If you are needing a more specified report, you may need to contact the school's Customer Success manager or reach out to Support.

Can we please remove the "solved" designation from this thread? I already know that the report I'm looking for is not one of the pre-made reports, and I have already learned from my support contact that it would cost several thousand dollars for Canvas to create it for me. I am interested in knowing if any community members have found a way to create a report of this type, perhaps through the method bowmanr hints at, so the question is still open. Thank you.

Yep - Not solved. I can see individual students' progress through modules, but need a consolidated list. 

I can see the data per student I want at BASEURL/courses/__CourseID___/modules/progressions 

but an overview of this is needed.
