Adding New Outcomes to the Learning Mastery Gradebook
Good afternoon!
We have a faculty that added new outcomes to the Learning Mastery gradebook. Does the Learning Mastery gradebook automatically update when new outcomes are added? The Learning Mastery gradebook did not automatically update for this faculty
Is there a setting so that the learning mastery gradebook will update as adjustments are made? Is it supposed to be doing that, but is not properly functioning?
Thank you!

Hi @nancy_webb,
As far as I know, the learning mastery gradebook will add new outcomes once those outcomes are associated with an assignment. There is also a "Hide outcomes with no results" checkbox in the learning mastery gradebook that would prevent the outcomes from appearing until scoring has happened. Maybe the outcomes weren't associated with an assignment yet or the checkbox is enabled. Could you check on those possibilities and post back here with the results?

Hi @chriscas Thank you, and I should have been more clear. The instructor would like outcomes to be updated retroactively (after a student has submitted an assignment).

Hi @nancy_webb,
I have personally never seen any scenarios where scored outcomes were not updated in the learning mastery gradebook. Is it possible the posting policy for the course or assignment was set to manual and not posted by the instructor? I do think scores need to be posted to for associated outcomes be counted in the learning mastery gradebook.
