[ARCHIVED] Allow specific students to see files

Is there a way to upload files and choose which students can see that file? I am a special education teacher who would like to provide modified work, but still have it come from their general education canvas page. I don't want all the students to see the modified work files, just specific students.

Hi  @mmwagner1  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Assignments, quizzes and discussions can all be set to only be available to a specific section. So for those items you could create a section just for them Only they can access them or eve see them.

Many schools restrict faculty from creating sections, so you may need the assistance of your school's Canvas admin/support department.
