Any progress on getting speech-to-text fixed?

Punctuation in speech to text is not working. It has been broken for months. When I asked about it before, Canvas reps said "It's not our problem. It's Google's problem."

This is ridiculous. My school does not pay Google to use their LMS. They pay Canvas to use the Canvas LMS!!! I have no leverage with Google, and speech-to-text works find EVERYWHERE except Canvas.

What will it take to fix this problem? In the mornings, I can't type!! My fingers swell at night, and I can't feel the keyboard. Speech-to-text is an indispensable tool for many of us, and it's ridiculous that it has been allowed to be broken for this long. Can't you simply trace back to when it last worked, what you did that broke it, and what you can do to fix it?
