Assignment Dashboard for submitting assignments through canvas does not show the submission button- I cannot subit my assignment.

For my first assignment, Canvas's Assignment Dashboard/Upload buttons do not show the submission button- I can choose to upload the assignment, but it won;t let me submit it.  Same problem using Firefox and on Chrome- resizing won't help.  I suspect it won't let me scroll down far enough to see the submit button within the page- no scroll bars visible.

@AndrewWay ...

By chance, are you using Turnitin to submit you assignment to your instructor?  I no longer have access to a Turnitin integration with Canvas, but that is what I remember it looking like.  I wonder if there is a setting within Turnitin that is not allowing you to submit?

@dhulsey ... might you have any thoughts or suggestions here?

It may be Turnitin through canvas, I assume so- but isn't labeled as such.

@AndrewWay ...

I think in your "pic 2" image, the blue square with the upward pointing arrow might be a Turnitin icon, but I'm not 100% sure on that.  Let's see what Dallas has to say.  I tagged him in my earlier response to you.  Stay tuned!

it is a problem between turnitin and canvas at present...  Canvas opens a box (grey in pic) that has a functional scroll bar- the next button opens another box within this one (white in pic) that has no scroll bar.  I can navigate to the supposedly correct 'Submit' button with the Tab key in the meantime, but can't see it on the page.  Tried all the usual clear browser cache, different browsers etc' with a chat agent.  Also tried opening the turnitin API in a new window, but turnitin gives me an error every time when I do this.

@AndrewWay and @Chris_Hofer , you are using the LTI version as an external tool here, right?  If so, have it load in a new tab, and this should solve the issue. Does that help?

As @dhulsey  mentioned, if the teacher changes it to "open in new tab," that should fix it. Meanwhile, if you Zoom out on your browser enough, it will get small enough for the Submit button to appear. Do CONTROL-MINUS to Zoom out. (Then, once you've clicked "Submit" you can put it back to normal by doing CONTROL-PLUS or CONTROL-ZERO to get back to 100%).

The tab key approach should work. The problem is that the Upload and Review button is hidden below the frame edge in a non-scrolling dialog box.

Select the file for submission and once the file is uploaded press the tab key. The Upload and Review button will then appear.

All of our faculty and students are running into this issue.
