How can I delete an assignment group?

Hi  @lholdren  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

Not hard, but you must keep in mind that all assignments (read, all graded content in Canvas jargon) must be in an assignment group, and Canvas creates a default group called "Assignments" (clever name).

To delete and Assignment group...........

• Go to the Assignments Index page,
• Move the assignments out of the group you wish to delete. They can be dragged and dropped into another group.
• Click the vertical ellipses (three dots) to the far right of the group's name, then
• Choose delete from the drop-down menu.

Using that drop-down menu you can also rename the group.
