Attendance in Canvas

Hello All,

We have been on Canvas for a few years and we are attempting to implement the attendance feature so that our faculty members as well as our university auditor are able to keep day-to-day logs.  However, some of our faculty members utilize other plug-ins where students complete their work.  The problem we are having is that it does not record their attendance within Canvas.  Is there a solution to this?  Please advise.
