Is there a feature to allow a student to automatically listen to a succession of audio (and/or video) replies in a discussion board thread?
I would like my nursing students to be able to post and listen to student discussions in a podcast-like format. I want to see if that is possible. Thank ya'll.

Discussions can be set up as a podcast, and they can include student replies too. There is a Canvas Guides document with all the details:

This will meet your interests and give your students control how and when they listen to those discussions.
I think that many of the browsers are disabling autoplay features for both video and audio. For accessibility reasons, users need to be able to interact with the content in a way that best suits their needs. From a UX standpoint, it is good for users to be able to control the experience. Also, imagine if I have a few tabs up and have listed to/watched the content, but then the browser refreshes for some reason and I have to determine which tabs are playing content, where that content is on the page, and disable it for each tab. Not the most ideal situation.
