Autogenerated Assignment Location

My professor said that Canvas autogenerated a group assignment and I should be able to see my group members that way but I don't see anything like that. Where would I be able to locate that? Also I did join the class a day late so I'm not sure if that is causing an issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated

If not, you can see all your groups (for all courses) in the Groups tab in the global navigation menu: How do I view my Canvas groups as a student? - Instructure Community - 281
