Big Blue Button Visibility for Students

I've just started using Big Blue Button as it was not available at my previous school.  I used it last term and did have a student join the meeting so I know it works in some way.  However, I noticed when setting up my course this term I could see Big Blue Button but when I switched to Student View it didn't show up.  Is this normal for the "Test Student" or do students not see it?  If so, how do they find the recordings?  Is that through the invite that went to their Canvas messaging?

I am not sure of an answer for you, but I would like to bring @ffdixon into this conversation in hopes that he will be able to help answer your question.

I also tried looking at the Student View in my own course, and I was able to see the "BigBlueButton" course navigation button just fine.  The only thing you might want to check is if you see a crossed-out eye icon next to the "BigBlueButton" course navigation button in your instructor view.  If this is the case, then you'll want to enable the button using this Guide:

If the button is already enabled, though, then maybe Fred has some other suggestions for you.  Good luck!
