Blue Discussion Dots not Disappearing

Even though instructors do not have their discussion settings set to manually mark discussion as read, the blue dots aren't disappearing after reading a post. We are using the redesign version - not sure if that has something to do with it?

Hello there, @nkraft ...

We are not using the new re-design look of Discussion topics yet.  But, what you've described sounds like something you might want to report to the folks at the Canvas Help Desk so they can get it logged.  Since this is currently in "beta" within the "Feature Previews", not all the bugs may be worked out of it yet.
