Calendar feature request: Mark as done

Feature request:

Clicking the "mark as done" button on an assignment page should also mark the relevant task "done" on the student's calendar.

AND/OR

There should be a "mark as done" option on the calendar item itself to cross items off the student's calendar.

I reported the lack of this function as a bug (10203286), and was told that it is expected behavior controlled by my teachers' settings for third-party integrations. Expected behavior or not, as a student I would appreciate the ability to control my own calendar tasks.

Unfortunately, this is not the area to be submitting feature requests for new functionality in Canvas.  Rather, you should be posting your ideas by following this link:

Then, click on the blue button labeled "View and Submit Ideas".  On the next screen, click on the blue button for "Submit an Idea".

Having the "mark as done" button on the assignment page sync up with the student's calendar tasks or having a dedicated "mark as done" option on the calendar itself would be super helpful.
