I am building a Canvas LMS course for a group of simulations. I want the files to be viewable only - no downloading (select files) at all. Is this possible in Canvas? Thank you, Renee

Hi @RaBollenbach1 ,
There is no direct option in Canvas to restrict file downloads.
A potential workaround would be to use Google Drive and use those links to populate in your modules. More information can be found here: Stop, limit, or change sharing files.
Please do understand that while you can prevent file downloads through workarounds, students can still screenshot or screen record those files for future purposes.
Best,
Noah
