Can the Attendance Roll Call feature be simplified?

The Canvas Attendance feature, while useful, is a little clunky. As it currently stands, for a teacher to look at the report they have to request it, wait for it to be emailed to them, download it, and then apply filters to make sense of the .csv file. 

Is there any way to make this process simpler or more streamlined? Could the report be downloaded directly from Canvas (skip the email step)? Could the report be accessible within Canvas itself, without the need for a download? Is there a way for the report to be more legible than the .csv file (which is filterable, but sort of difficult to look at)?

There used to be this idea that's now been archived called Attendance Overhaul - Instructure Community - 371327 (canvaslms.com).  However, now there is a newer Theme called Roll Call Attendance improvements - Instructure Community - 588290 (canvaslms.com).  As you can see from this Theme, there are currently seven submitted ideas tied to the theme.  I'm not sure if any of those relate at all to what you are asking for.  If not, you could always submit your own idea for evaluation.  To submit your own idea, please follow the steps in this Guide:
