I always use Safari when using Canvas and usually it works fine, however, for about a week now I have not been able to view PowerPoints/presentations while on Safari. This has never been an issue before, so I am confused. In the meantime, I have been using Google Chrome and it has worked. I think my laptop might've automatically updated itself about a week or two ago, so I suspect this has something to do with my issue, but I am not sure which settings are causing this issue. I have included screenshots of what I'm seeing in case it provides any extra information. Thank you.
Safari has some of the strictest settings when it comes to displaying content from other platforms, you may need to go into the Safari settings to turn off the cross-tracking blockage that you are encountering.
Hi @Bee_R ...
In addition to the helpful information you received from @ericwhitmer, I typically recommend using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox as your browser of choice. Also, you might want to check out What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?. On this page, there is a built-in browser check that will tell you if your browser is up-to-date.
Hopefully this extra bit of information will be helpful to you. Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks!
