Hello!
Here's a puzzling issue associated with a Canvas assignment - it was changed from grading based on 10 points to complete/incomplete. All students received point-based grades but once the display grades changed to complete/incomplete, the grades in gradebook reflected the change so students receive either 10 (complete) or 0 (incomplete), except for three students - their grades are still based on the actual point grades they received. Is this a Canvas glitch? We can't find a way to correct this in Canvas. Any suggestion to correct this grading error would be appreciated!

I think, @RitaLiu, that this is intended behavior. I did a test to replicate what you describe and notice that the total score for the students does not change when I switch the grade display from Points to Complete/Incomplete:
Points vs. complete/incomplete
In order to make those complete grades count as full credit, I had to mark those as ungraded, wait for the total to refresh, and then mark them as complete.

Thanks so much for testing! That's good news. I'm still a bit confused with what I see in my grade book though. Please see the screenshot below. The column "Oral Reflections.." is the assignment where the "grading error" appears. The three students got 90%, 72.5%, and 95%. Looks like the total is based on the lower percentage they got in this assignment.
I see you're using weighted grades for your assignment groups. I picked the first student listed and did the following calculations (I treated the total points possible as 100 to make the math a little easier):
However, the Total score is calculated based only on what has been graded so far, which is 85% of the total. So the student's current grade is 82.5/85 or 97.06%.
For each assignment group, the score is a percentage of the points possible within the group. If there is only one assignment in that group (worth 10 points?), then switching the student's grade from complete to ungraded then back to complete should change their score from 9 to 10 and then make their Oral Reflections score change from 90% to 100% and then their Total score would become 85/85 or 100%.
Thanks so much again. I'll try that!
