Canvas automatically selecting group from gradebook; can't access other groups' quiz

Weeks ago I made groups so I could split my periods for grading purposes in SpeedGrader. I gave a test yesterday to 4th, 5th, and 7th. Normally when I grade stuff, there's a dropdown that lets me choose which period I want. That's not there this time.

When I open SpeedGrader for my test, it always brings me to 4th period. It says that no selection was made so it automatically chose 4th period and it can be turned off in the gradebook. If I go to the gradebook, sure enough, a filter for 4th period is on. I turn it off and go back to the test and it does the same thing again. I literally cannot access 5th or 7th period's tests. Maybe I could remove the groups but I'm not sure how that would affect their grades.

I have to grade them by hand for the last 9 points because of their short answer.

I'm not quite sure when this was added, but I notice that there is now a "Large course: Launch Speedgrader filtered by student group" option under the course  settings.  You might look to see if that is enabled in your course:
