For school-specific questions about things like your overall GPA, which are not related to Canvas, you will want to contact the Help Desk at your school.

At some schools, Canvas is not the "official" source of where your final grades are stored.  Rather, those grades are often transferred to your school's SIS (Student Information System).  This is where your "official" grades would be kept during your time at the school.  Therefore, you would want to consult with folks at your school (maybe someone from your school's Registration department) to find out how you can determine your GPA.  Each school handles things a bit differently, so please have conversations with people at your school...as it's not always correct to assume that Canvas is or should be the "official" source.  I hope this makes sense.

it should be on canvas, you need to add it on the class of page, it's really dumb and kids want to know their GPA

I understand what you are saying, but my response above from November 2, 2023 still holds true.  Many times, Canvas is not the "official" source to obtain final grades.  Schools need ways to keep records of students, and sometimes this involves reporting features which are not available in Canvas but are included in a school's SIS (Student Information System).
