Hi,
I would like to sell my course on Canvas Catalog. May I please have more information about it and knowing more about the price?
I've tried to reach the sale's team, but no answer.
Thank you very much,
Audrey

Thank you very much for your answer. Well, it's a shame, I really like Canvas... I think I will just use Canvas Instructure for my course and receive the payment on a separate link. Thanks again!
Hi @AudreyBC
In order for you to use Catalog to distribute courses, your school or organization must license its own Catalog server. There is no "Free for teachers" version of Catalog the way there is for Canvas.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your answer! I am a online private teacher, so I'm not attached to any public school. I'm more than happy to pay this license but I don't know how to get it and how much is it? I've tried to contact the sales since Monday, but no one gets back to me. I've also tried to call Canvas today, again no answer. Thanks again for your answer!
You would probably not be able to purchase a license for Catalog just to teach a single course, and it would likely be far too expensive. The license contracts are designed for organizations with many courses and users, who can provide their own payment system, and the setup, configuration, and management of the system can be somewhat complicated.
Many thanks for your answer an details. Do you know how much is app. the license per year?
It depends on the anticipated number of student enrollments, I'm sure, plus there is and initial onboarding/setup cost to provision and configure your system. I don't remember the budget for our system when we initially licensed, but it was in the tens if thousands of dollars...
Thank you very much for your answer. Well, it's a shame, I really like Canvas... I think I will just use Canvas Instructure for my course and receive the payment on a separate link. Thanks again!
